Any orders received by The Language Of... will be sent by first class mail, second class or standard mail with Royal Mail within the UK. We and vendors using our site will always endeavour to despatch orders by first class mail to the UK, but where the cost of postage exceeds what we have charged you, the order will be sent out using second class or standard parcel mail and delivery will therefore take approximately 3 days. All orders from overseas will be despatched by airmail.

 Where a customer buys a number of different items from the same supplier, postage for the first item will be calculated on the basis of the item which charges the highest postage, and postage for additional items will be calculated according to the stated price for additional items in their appropriate category;

Where a customer buys a number of different items, but only one item has been bought from each supplier, then the rate of postage for the first item will also apply to each of the purchases.

RETURNS AND YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS:

The Language Of ... recognises that there will be times when a customer wishes to return a purchase. By law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. To cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, please contact us immediately, giving the reason for the return. We will then ask the vendor of your item to enter into direct communication with you.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items and their return must be accompanied by the original delivery slip or order confirmation. Given the nature of our trade - mostly USED items - it is your responsibility to read at the point of purchase the description concerning the state of the item. The refund will only be made to whichever debit, credit card or PayPal account used to make the purchase.
