There are two ways to sell on our site. Firstly, if you have language-related items, such as foreign language books, audio books, audio, visual or paper language learning materials, DVDs, CDs, Blu Ray, PC or video games, board games, electronic translators, dictionaries, e-readers loaded with foreign language books – in fact any language-related item – then you can sell them yourself on The Language Of... website, simply by clicking on the I Want To Sell tab on our Home Page, reading our Terms and Conditions very carefully, creating a vendor account and you’re on your way! We charge a 18% administrative fee on the total sales cost, including postage and packing, and then pay you 10 working days after the date you sell your item. The delay in payment is to safeguard against dispute between buyer and seller on matters of the item’s condition or non-delivery.
The second way to sell is direct to The Language Of... If you have a quantity of items you would find it too time-consuming to upload onto our site, then we might be interested in buying them. Unfortunately we are limited to buying from vendors in the London and Home counties as, logistically and from a cost-effective point of view, we can’t travel to view items further afield, and we prefer to view before buying. If you have any of the items mentioned in the above paragraph, then please contact us, but bear in mind that we will only consider items in reasonable condition, no pages or components missing and if electronic, they must be fully functioning.
If you wish to discuss the sale of your items to us, please e-mail info@thelanguageof.com, with a description of what you have to sell. 12
